American business man Oscar Holverson's letter on the Titanic ship on April 13, 1912 was sold in the auction for £ 126,000. At the auction, the sea-water-stained letter was sold to the British buyer in Wiltshire by phone. Andrew Aldridge, auction manager, said without a name that someone who "picked up the letter iconic materials" bought it.

He wrote his mother's letter on his Titanic journey along with his wife Holverson. In the Holverson letter, he talks about the Titanic ship and says, "The boat is huge, like a palace." Holverson also mentions John Jacob Astor, one of America's richest people. Speaking of Astor, Holverson says, "Despite being millions of dollars, it looks like other people, sitting on deck with people."
On the Titanic battle, Oscar Holverson, along with JJ Astor, died with more than a thousand people. His wife, Mary Holverson, was saved. When Holverson's body was found, this letter was written in the coat of arms of his jacket 660x310-titanikte-yazilan-mektup-rekor-fiyata-satildi-1508624485144.jpg
