Can someone please monetize Facebook and Twitter

I was really hoping for Steem to become a place where we share information about the world we live in, about our take on life, from all the different corners of the world. A mix of culture, opinions on the societies we live in and knowledge.
Instead I see it's becoming just a heaven for Facebook and twatter idiots. How can you post pictures of your children on social media.....really ? ....what kind of irresponsible animals are we?
Do I really care about what new things you purchased or your collection of running shoes , or how much you love your idiot husband or wife....
Please...someone....monetize those garbage collecting holes so that steem can become what it was meant.
