Meghan Markle went after Kate Middleton over her wedding to Ruler William

Meghan Markle attended Kate Middleton's wedding to Prince William in 2011 on her blog The Tig.

Years before her most memorable meeting with Kate, the now-Duchess of Sussex saw photos of the imperial wedding and remarked that she was interested in being "Princess Kate".

According to The Mirror, Meghan stated: "Young ladies' fantasies of being princesses. I was definitely about She-Ra, the princess of power."

“For those of you new to the 80s animation reference, She-Ra is He-Man's twin and blade wielding female revolutionary known for her solidarity.

"We're definitely not talking about Cinderella here," she added.

"Evolved ladies seem to realize this dream of youth. Just look at the fanfare surrounding the royal wedding and the eternal debate about Princess Kate," added Meghan.
