in #wovenfree7 years ago (edited)

Woven is a Women’s initiative platform working to inspire women globally. It is also a sub-tribe of TribeGlobal-Love.

Women let us take this opportunity to lift our voices on subjects that matter to us. What is it that you want to express? Your ideas, thoughts, and experiences may help many others
.

Take the theme of each day’s freewrite in the direction that you choose.

By way of this freewrite send messages of love healing and hope to all women around the globe. I will resteem the top 4 to the TribeGlobal-Love Blog weekly.

I also ask all the women participating to support one another by upvoting and

resteeming each other’s post.

Today's freewrite theme is “Community” The first place my mind went to was, one of my precious seasons of loving support.

One of my greatest community connects were in seasons when it was just me and my daughter. We loved each other through the ups and downs. The good, bad and ugly times. And we still do have an undying love that is oh so fierce. I love my daughter Maariyah deeply. Now two decades later my daughter is extremely busy as a wife, mother of my three youngest grandchildren, as an entrepreneur and to a world traveler, we still create the quality time, we continue our legacy of beautiful memories. This pic is from one of those seasons a couple of decades ago.

Day 2 Word Prompt – Community

Affirmation – “I am connected, woven and synergistically apart of you and I celebrate the love, support, and friendship we share that helps me to stay balanced as one of we and all.”

Community- We all need supporters that surround us and support us fiercely regardless of the size of the group, if they are giving and sowing into your life and you into theirs (it needs to be reciprocal) then it is fulfilling its purpose in our life.

A community should be about celebration and gatherings of two or more. And these days we can do meetups online to bring together our community from all over the world.

A community should help us to grow, offer wisdom and a variety of ways to do things, it should move us beyond the norm and as well hold us accountable by giving us a gentle nudge when we are going the wrong way, yet in no way should our community judge us.

And although we are intrinsically connected we should still allow each other breathing room.

As the famous literary artist, Khalil Gibran said, “And stand together yet not too near together: for the pillars of a temple stand apart, and the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.”

Let the freewrite begin!
