What is Wownero?
Wownero is a fork of the private cryptocurrenty Monero with two major changes:
A capped emmision that disallows infinite coin creation
10x the coin for 10x the W0W!
Wownero is a fairly launched coin with no premine - it was announced here and on twitter, IRC, and reddit weeks ahead of launch, it launched with optimized miners for CPUs as well as AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. It's not a fork of another blockchain, and it has a long and relatively flat emission curve. With its own genesis block there is no degradation of privacy due to ring signatures using different participants for the same tx outputs on opposing forks. It is also the first cryptocurrency to use bulletproofs to reduce tx size on mainnet.
How to Mine Wownero
Step 1
Download the Wownero Windows Miner We'll use XMR-STAK for both easy CPU and GPU mining.

Download your wallet or use exchange deposit address

Step 3
Run Wallet & Write down your mnemonic seed and take note of your wallets address you'll need it later.

Step 4
Pick your mining pool.
we'll use: http://cryptoknight.cc/wownero/ currently has about 20% of network's hashrate. You can pick a pool with a higher or lower hashrate if you like.

Select the port that matches your hardware.
Step 5
Now that you have your miner software , your wallets address and you have picked your mining pool & port. Lets put it all together and setup your miner.
Unzip XMR-STAK and then run as admin (right click select run as admin) xmr-stak.exe.
Press the number 0 and hit enter
XMR-STAK will tell you to Please enter the currency that you want to mine
Type cryptonight_v7 and hit enter
Next it will ask you for your Pool URL input:
wownero.ingest.cryptoknight.cc:50901 (or whatever port for your hardware) and hit enter
Next it will ask you for Your Wallet address:

It will ask you for a password some pools allow worker ID's you can put one here:
example: MYRIG and hit enter
Rig identifier
Leave empty and hit enter
Everything else it ask just type "N" for no and hit enter.
Step 6
Your miner should configure itself and start running.
You can check your mining stats by inputting your wallets address on the main page of your pool :

Honestly, I can't believe this is real. As humorous as another Monero Clone sounds @guidedcrypto, XMR is still the best to mine....
Monero Mining Difficulty is at the lowest since December 15th, 2017 making it the most profitable altcoin to mine right now.
Wownero has consistently moved up in price , its not listed on any mining calculators yet but it is very profitable to mine. You can also mine it directly to altex via integrated address!
With the right amount of data, It's possible I can do the calculations without the calculator. Are you mining WOW? If so, can you comment a screenshot with hashrate and daily return?
