The Challenge: write 100 words or more, daily, given a single-word prompt.
I looked everywhere for quality creative writing communities on Steemit, but was frustrated that they weren't easy to find. If you know of any, please comment.
So, I am beginning this today for the next 21 days, using "the word of the day" from wordthink. It will be interesting how everyone tackles the same word differently.
The format or content of what you write doesn't matter. The point is only to practice writing.

Do you think in the future you would do one where everyone uses the same word? Might be cool to see different people come up with unique content from the same prompt.
I agree. It might actually be the same prompt per day on www.oneword.com. I just refreshed and it didn't change. Did you get the prompt "radius"?
Yes, actually I did get radius.

@kawthar The one word generator actually seems to repeat, so I'm now using http://www.wordthink.com/, link updated above too. Today's word is Antithesis.

Great! Yeah the idea for me is just to flex the writing muscles, 100+ is a ballpark word count

Wow that's a pretty great idea actually, I get writers block quite easily and so this is very useful!
Same, usually when I google poetry topics, I'll find theirs an array of interesting things to write about.

Interesting. Its gonna be hard to write about radius lolz, but I guess thats where the creative part comes in right? thanks for making steemit a better place btw.
