Defining a Man.

We have really missed the point on defining who a man is. Some people really think intimidating others with their musculine bodies makes them real men. Wealth has also blinded many on the principles of being a real man. Using money to buy flashy things and attracting ladies makes them think that they are real men. Some are engaging in crimes and they are in possession of fire arms and ammunitions thinking that this will make them be real men as gangsters.

Defining a Real Man.

Being a real man starts from the mind. Traditionally, adolescents are taken through various processes to usher them into adulthood. These processes are different according to different cultures, but they focus on the physical aspects of manhood. Not many are taken through the development of their minds and hearts.

A real man is initiated from the mind, his thoughts, words and actions should represent manhood. So what does it mean to be a real man?

A real man is a man of action who takes initiative and becomes a leader. It is a person who is responsible for his words, actions and even his life. He is not a person who is selfish and self-centred, but a person who is willing to sacrifice for the sake of others.

He is honest and faithful whether to his companion or any other thing that they may be engaged in, and whatever he does he makes the best use of time by leaving a legacy.
