Your grandpa died for a flag? Was he a Nazi? Cause my grandpa killed state worshiping militarist national socialists so that I could burn flags in protest of that kind of shit. Wait a minute, did my grandpa kill your grandpa?! Welcome to America motherfucker. What's it like to meet a sovereign king?

Each and every one of us was raised in a cult. We were taught that our way of life was the best way. These smiling faces surrounding us- good people. We're taught that our people were the most civilized. We're taught that our punishments were most just, our ancestors were the most noble. It was our side that sought peace. Destiny. Our veterans were the most brave. Our progress was the most advanced. Our fights were most worth while. Our rewards most deserved. We were taught that our manners were the most considerate, our scorn the most acceptable. The way we dress ourselves and our modesty was shamed into us. We're criminal for not trusting the limits put on us, leaders if we lie, a hero if we commit atrocities among some foreign cult, and don't forget to thank one. The culture has you.

Some want to believe it more than others. Some need to. It's their only means of advancement. The budge within the herd. Permissions denied advancement guaranteed upon violence. Regulated out of individuality. Raised out of growing up. Cowards guaranteed their badges of courage. Gleeful little Sunday dresses clapping their righteous decisions. Killing in the name of, defending the down trodden by voting their defenses away. Your God's on your side, a light dessert to stretch out your contentment on a dull day.

This human cult will always be there, but you might change it if only you know that, you, play a part in a cult. If you deny that this cult exists, this culture will use you to its ends and remember your achievements as fulfilling its own purposes. One of those who died for this flag, whether you did or not. Don't be one of those who denies its existence singing and dancing everything is awesome. Don't be another simple island floating along a sewer. Someone who accepts this cult that celebrates death instead of life, material wealth over relations, self righteousness and circular thinking, knowing no harmony, no wisdom in nature.

They bad. It's their fault. Their bad. Their inferiority, their unworthiness, their distance. Their general unfriendliness. Their rags and cooked trash. Their chimes, bongos, and whistles. Heathens, barbarians, mongols wild from the steppe, blasphemers, infidels, conspiracy theorists.

Truth is dismissed its radical departures. Negativity if you hear it spoken. Dismissed and evil. Smiles and recipes for happiness didn't include what you didn't want to hear. Was so much easier told that way. It was all so nice and spelled out when you wide eyed knew everything. Straight out of school signing a waver of your rights ready and willing to kill or die tryin'. Maybe taking out a loan to receive success down the road wearing a tie to the alpha on the hill. The branch manager. So willing to have your status under jurisdiction as appreciative as an orphan for adoption papers. Your love so reciprocal, but theirs not. It's apparent.

When you're trapped in a self righteous community at birth you will eventually be sacrificed to it. You were not born into a commune you were numbered and certified as an asset for the corporation. You don't get to borrow from some foreign king, your masters do. They use their population to justify their bartering power. You, on the other hand, can't use your nationality to barter. Come on I'm American, I'm good for it. You can only barter with what you control. Providing sacrifices is where you fortunate sons come in. That's where your youths come in handy. Hand them a whip or a rifle. Slave drivers at home always needed. Soldiers ranks always useful for a grinning game of culture clash.

Culture, root word cult. Cult as in cultivation, human cultivation. Think, pasture. Each culture is a pasture of people being cultivated. Our cultures aren't square plots of land but regions and areas with borders we call countries. This cultivation persists just like any other. We weed out the weeds. Wrong color, wrong height, too many branches, not deep enough roots, takes too much maintenance, get out. Then we clear the killing fields of neighboring lands with fire and poison. We irrigate out all their sustenance into our culture and leave them in drought. People are like plants. We stick together. We grow roots. We are so arrogant that we think we are above the animals, but we are just fucking plants. Violent intolerant discriminating aggressive plants.

How Boastful They Are.

How boastful they are.
The bluff of the pseudo proud.
Social division begets false pride.
To fit in without work ethic applied.
Finding hollow victory in the groups they can't deny.

Maybe the acceptance you wanted wasn't barred,
have you considered it was merely resisted?
Color coded coordinated. Tie dyed never tried?
Ten fingers/ten toes pride?

Searching for honor
emerging with handfuls of nothing.
If they're so right why can't they let it be.
What will be will be, under G-O-D.

You'd never be proud of these people,
these leaches that latched onto your need.
Your intolerance, it's not honorable.
Their intimate love can't even breed.
Yet God needs you forbid them marriage?

God doesn't enter contracts.
Yes, I'm questioning your confidence.
Have you forgotten yourselves?
Reading your courtesy off cue cards,
You've become teacher's pet tattle tails.

It's so hard to find. It's so hard to claim.
Pride shopping wastes resources,
just buy the fake stuff appear and maintain!

Free shipping. A free badge in the box.
Feel free to bash them children on the rocks,
better to be dead than to raise a faggot.
Brought up in church raised on righteousness
an instituted faith suspected of covering their ass, rape.
Can't quite place this origin of intolerant hate.

But I'm proud to be a church going, white, heterosexual.
Because we're so hard up for acceptance.
Perfect the way we are, why don't nobody like us?
You should be ashamed of yourselves if you deny us this.
False Pride. White pride, Straight pride, Religious pride.
We achieved these things.
All we want is perfection and a world that conforms to our needs.
To believe we are without fault and flaw,
deserving of understanding let us be!
Your saving chaos so righteous so great.

Working Man

A workin' man can get the women.
Drives a big new truck cause he's a workin' man.
Workin' man can do what he wants, cause he's a workin' man.
He can nod and wave at the man, cause he's a workin' man.
Doesn't bother much with speed limits, he's a workin' man.
He can get things taken care of voted and everything, yes he can.
The workin' man can tell you what to do cause he's an American.
He's better'n you worth more, built it, milks it. 'Cause he's a workin' man.

Gets it all worked out, worked on. Nothin' like work to make a man feel like a man.
Nothin' like work to make a man talk down to people.
Cause nobody else is even trying, they aren't even concerned says the working man.
You're efforts are just stupid if you're not a workin' man.
No time for deep thoughts you've got to keep busy collecting hours.
The workin' man's got it all figured out, too busy for questions.

You'll walk in hospitality, you're taken care of when you're a workin' man.
A workin' man can sleep at night.
Workin' man has a plan. He's gonna' make it.
The workin' man ain't no house ni.. help,
he's the nobel savage field hand, says the workin' man.
His privilege isn't elitist, cause he work he's a workin' man.

You ain't my equal boy.
Equal ain't no job title I ever heard of.
Older more valuable, more respected, more right.
A workin' man's time is worth more than your time.
His vote's worth more. It counts more.
He stands taller, cause he's a workin' man.

A workin' man can point his finger and you'll be gone.
He built the world, he'll build your jail.
Cause he's a workin' man, driving a new truck, and he's got it all figured out.
Got no time for you, and got a job to do.
Ain't a man if you ain't a workin' man.

Get out of the way!
Quit social loafing!
Get out of the way!
Quit social loafing!
The man's got a plan for the workin' man.

Got to be a citizen to be a r-e-a-l workin' man.
Support all their effort to prove you're truly ambitious.
Workin' man's gonna' defend the shit out of you.

Workin' man's time is never enough.
He calls it a 'living'.
Better not threaten a workin' man with 'havin' a life,
cause he's a man and got work to do.
It's the workin' man gets to tell you to get a life,
cause he's uh, uh. . . workin' man.
WORKIN MAAAAN

Nothin' like work to make a man condescending, so, Hello, what do you do?
A workin' man is a suitable man, an appropriately dressed man.
A workin' man is a uniform sort of man, fits in.
Makes mom real proud, a provider for the plucking wedding worshipper.
Refusing to conform to the working man's world is a waste of workin' man's time.

He's persistent. You can't doubt the workin' man.
Entrepreneur's are pussies and dreamers, and who voted you to create?
Just get a job says the workin' man. Learn your trade.
The workin' man doesn't see his privilege,
he's too busy workin' don't bring it up either.

A workin' man drives a big new truck has a job to do.
A workin' man says there's a time to think and a time for work.
Don't point out he's a servant cause he'll punch your lights out.
Cause he's a workin' man, strong and tough because he works and that makes him manly.

You've got to respect his pay check, cause all his hours counted.
Every single moment spent was an effort cherished by the workin' man.
Gonna' get to heaven without idle hands
worked so hard for so long, says the workin' man,
If I want to segregate my age group and get everything paid for I can.
I was raised to be a workin' man, and this is a workin' man's world.

And he's right, and you can't take that away from him.
Hoarding it, keeping it.
Worked all his life 'earning' every second.
Cause he's a workin' man.
You either work or you're robbin' the workin' man.
You need to be just like him.
Shouldn't you be workin' man?

“Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood, let alone believed by the masses.” Plato (the well broken and defeated dog)

Cultural Leadership

Every tie that binds
every suit you wear
every position you take
every insistence you make
each promotion you claim
and title traded for name.
Each person you put into order
every type arranged and placed.
Every vote you vote in self defense
every institution you support
all your values prioritized for your safety's sake.
All the street smarts you know,
“ain't 'bout your rights son they gets away with it.”
All the children you tell, "that's just the way it is."
Each kid you punish into believing you
every thing done in a God's name
every desire kept in a closet
everything kept secret
every status you gain
and all the certifications you hang.
Make you a cult leader.
Congratulations! Life ain't fair!
Don't get to choose what you are, never did.
Tradition ain't harmony.
Order ain't peace.
Authority ain't respect.
There's no equality in democracy.
Your sacrifice was someone else's loss.
Perpetual war ain't heroic.
Your local team ain't special.
Look how deep the roots go.
All these things that make you better than you,
make you worth more to who?
Unequal isn't more unique, you're a fool.
Being incomparable is what makes us equal.
Self righteousness, the roots of evil.
Look how much blood it took to feed those roots.
Look how long it took for it to blossom in you.
You're finally successful. You're finally in charge. Tell your stories. Stroke your swords. Divide the different out. Preach who's wrong. You glorious old fool and die.
All those years you suffered deserve reparation?
Slowly broken statist with offensive elderly expectations.
Slaved your whole life for 'the good things'.
Big enough to do the beating.
Empowered by your obedience.
Fought for it. A hard fight for a place in line straight to hell.

. . .

All passions offend only the broken and enslaved. Must we become the well kept to satisfy our flames are not extinguished by the instituted order? How lively we continue to offer rent in this top to bottom equality! Our barely felt warmth of spirit still threatens to ignite something denied, a placement further up. The soulless crust grows thicker and thicker unable to extinguish us at the bottom stoking each other's flames under layers upon layers of a cold and damp condescension. Side by side we dare to burn the whole thing down from the drowning pool with exploding passions bubbling up from sparks and glints in our mind's eye. Children of the damned given a number surviving. Consuming the shit and refusing the flavor. Even in the dark they're on fire! They're on fire! They're on fire!

Inside safely, outside scaly. Warming with a warning. Slow to grow and moaning. Living in the belly of the beast.

Keep yourself from comfort but don't abandon hope. Climb the snot wet bullshit. Ride the cosmic joke. Find a place that sustains your fire and laugh at all the smoke.

Tucked in bedding. Lazily sleeping without dreaming. Barely living on towards better things. Days all daze around us but let them be astounded at your daring profound and uncomplicated cutting of their puppet strings.

Throwing books in windows. Wake them up with bellows. Rats and nazi demons reporting on something's going's on -won't make it end. Keep it up. Pierce the peak let the sunshine in. Picnic the public like an American terrorist I could be proud of.
