Kitchen Life

There are several things that make working in a kitchen a great job to have but with every benefit there’s always a downside. Let’s go over a few.

Kitchen Workers

1.) Co-Workers

Pro: Usually you spend so much time with your co-workers they become your closest friends.
Con: You spend so much time with your co-workers it seems you can't escape them.

Clock Face

2.) Schedule

Pro: your schedule works out so that your days off are the best days to go places. For example, the mall, the movies, parks, golfing...etc.
Con: old friends and family invite you to weddings, birthday parties and barbecues but you work weekends and can't go. Although sometimes this isn’t always a bad thing. It’s a great excuse.

Crazy thing

3.) Got To Be a Little Crazy

Pro: You get to do and say almost whatever you want to whomever you work with because you're all so close. Every one swears and everyone says pretty fucked up shit. Guess what? Nobody cares.
Con: … well we don't really see a downside to this other than if you're not into it that day. Then you have to listen to hours of madness and the constant screaming of obscenities.

Awesome Food

(source) Great looking food. That we could easily make.

4.) Skills of The Trade

Pro: you learn how to cook a lot of really cool food. You gain the knowledge and ability to make whatever you want out of anything.
Con: By the time you get home or even on your day off you only eat frozen pizza and takeout. Because you just need to eat so you can drink and go to bed.

You're hired, you're fired

5.) Turn Over

Pro: You're always meeting new people! Hooray!
Con: Most of them are shit-bags and will be fired within a few months if not weeks.

Fire on the line

(source) That's on purpose you dick!

6.) The Heat

Pro: You sweat a lot.. People say that's a good thing, right?
Con: 145 degrees?! Jesus Fucking Christ!

The both of us work at a restaurant and we thought this would be a good start, not a great one but you know decent. Let us know in the comments if you have ever worked in a kitchen and can relate to any of this. We were planning on having a better post but we have a wedding this Friday and a bunch of other stuff going on so we couldn’t get everything done that we had hoped including the final draft of our original post. Better posts to come, we promise!

Agreed! Maybe we'll have to make a part two of this. Server-side maybe?

Sorry guys we forgot to put the steemit logo in our logo. We will fix that for the next post.
