Today is the first day of the month of love, February. We had the opportunity to go through the first month of the new year and we are privileged to go through another month starting today. I'm sure most of us have plans laid out for this month and I pray that we are able to execute them.

The title for today's motivational post is giving. There are a lot of organisations and NGO'S spread out across the world whose aim is to give and help the needy and poor. Giving comes in different forms : through monetary means, through counsel, through charity work, among others. Each one of us has gone through the act of giving.

Giving is a difficult task for some people. Mostly, they feel that they are losing than gaining when they give. I beg to differ. We've all heard of the popular saying in the Holy Scriptures: there's more blessing in giving than in receiving. In whichever form you are giving, so far as it's with a good intent and without malice, you attract blessings unto yourself. You wouldn't know the extent to which your giving has saved someone. This is seen in the gratitude and appreciation you get from the person.

Give because you want to. Don't give and propagate it to the whole world for fame. You rather get back lashed if you are doing it for the fame and it doesn't come with blessings.
So let's keep giving and it should be out of good intent. The blessings would follow and you would be amazed.

How much have you put in your giving

I have done all my givings with sincerity. I don't even keep track of the number of times I've engaged in the act of giving.

Acts.20.35 - I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Thank you for the scriptural backing
