Outstanding people are those who go the extra mile in their endeavors. The five wise virgins were wiser than the foolish by just one thing, and that was the extra oil in their vessels. Carrying the extra oil in their vessels was a sacrifice of some sort because it brought a great deal of inconvenience to them. While their colleagues had a free and to play with, they had both hands occupied. Meaning no time to play or do something else. That was sacrifice, and it distinguishes people.

There are different kinds of sacrifice that you need to make in order to be outstanding.
They are as follows :

1. Sacrifice Of Extra Time
   Time is given to all of us in equal measure; as such how you invest it and in what measure you invest your time determines the outcome of your life.
2. Sacrifice Of Extra Energy
   The world is ruled by the energetic, and there's no room for lethargy, indolence or laziness of any form. Any really outstanding person will tell you that there's no room for laziness.
3. Sacrifice Of Resources
   If you do not learn how and where to invest your resources, you will not be able to sustain prosperity it be prosperous in the first place. Invest in God and his kingdom, make sure you are part of those who make the work of God grow and expand.
   Invest in your business, and don't eat everything.
4. Sacrifice Of Pleasure
   Give up some pleasures in order to make room for more important things. We may all be saints, but we are not all at the same level because God has a special place for those who sacrifice for him. God sees sacrifice as a covenant.
