Through My Eyes

in #writing8 years ago (edited)

I wrote this poem, as many times I have felt like the person who feels for someone, but they never knew. For that person who is also looking for love, like myself, but never able to take the first step.

If only the possibility lies
That you could see yourself
Through my eyes.
What a wonderful day that would be.

For through my eyes
Your mind's image of yourself
Would change
Inevitably.

Through my eyes
You are
The embodiment of hope and more.

Through my eyes
I have seen
Who You Really Are.

Love, life
and creativity

Careful kindness,
in tune with divinity.

Truthful, and honest
Purest in deed

Patience in thought
Impeccably free.

If only the possibility lies
That you could see yourself
Through my eyes.
What a wonderful day for me.

For through my eyes
Your love for me
Would change
Inevitably.

A cannibal went for a walk and he passed his brother. -

I'm intrigued. Did the cannibal eat his brother, or was he too embarrassed to talk to him?
