(Image from kcbi.org)
Most people view failure as the end of it all especially if they try more than once and cant seem to achieve their goal. This should not be so as failure should be considered as learning experience that allows you to be better next time.
Im going to discuss a few examples of inspiring successful individuals who will almost make you believe that success comes after overcoming failures:
- Thomas A Edison
Thomas Edison one of greatest inventors of all times popularly known for his invention of the light bulb. he is also known as the master of trial and error. It took him years and years to discover one of the most important discoveries for the mankind which is in use worldwide in every continent of the globe. As a child, his teachers always told his parents that he would never succeed in life due to his slow brain, he was fired from his first two jobs for being "non-productive. He didn't let all this bring him down, he failed almost 10000 times before inventing the light bulb. However,When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was merely an invention with 1,000 steps." Wow mind blowing.

- Walt Disney
A man who needs no introduction is Late Walt Disney; he was the owner and founder of the Walt Disney Inc. I remember spending hours as a kid watching my favourite cartoon series mickey and minnie. To think that the success story of the man who made this possible is full of painful events and failures.A dropout from school, he started his own company at the age of 19, drawing his own cartoon. unfortunately He failed to sell a single cartoon. He also wanted to be a Hollywood actor but this never happened. He went bankrupt many times and was also fires by a newspaper editor for lacking imaginative and creative ideas. Bht out of all this setbacks, the secret of success within him led him to create his first Mickey mouse character and was finally on his real road to success.

3.Nelson Mandela
Late Mandela a former president of south Africa one of the most respected people around the world and South Africa spent most of his life in prison, where every day with a small hammer he broke rocks apart in the blazing sun only to return to the home he knew for 27 years, an 8’ by 8’ cell. Mandela helped to unite South Africa as it dismantled the cruel system of apartheid. He stood up and show for all of Africa a commitment to democracy and freedom. It is recorded that During his time span in the jail, he kept a scrap of paper, which had the famous lines by William Ernest Henley, named “Invictus.” The lines stated “I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.”

The famous writer J.K Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series is another great example. Her novel was rejected by over 12 best publishers who thought it will be too complicated for kids to understand before becoming the best seller in the history of fiction. all the failures, setbacks, eventually made her stronger. Her words: "It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default." — J.K. Rowling.

- Steven Paul Jobs
Finally, the inspiring success story of Apple and Steve Jobs, a brand that has affected the lives of millions. Most of us would not be familiar with his struggles; he was adopted at birth because unmarried parents couldn't take care of him. Dropped out of college because the fees were too expensive he lived his life sleeping at the door rooms of a friend’s house. By the time he was in India, he stayed at the temple, where he would get free meals. Got kicked out of jobs many times but still rose up to become a successful inventor only made possible by determination and hardwork.
