What a beautiful birthing story, Erika! Such a lovely and powerful setting. An intimacy between them that I felt myself long for.

Thanks Kimberly. I was inspired by a video I once saw of a woman who gave birth as well as by a book I read.
I never have thought before I myself became a mother that it could be so different. I heard a really funny story from reading blogs run by midwives. One told a story about a birth giving women (in the hospital) who asked the midwife to give her sexual satisfaction as she wasn't able to reach down there very good and the midwife, first astonished, followed this wish. Can you believe that? :-)))
Wow, quite the story!
My mother is a midwife and she would encourage making out, nipple stimulation and sex as a good way to start labor, but don't think she was ever a participant.
Your story felt like the partners were really in sync with one another which I found beautiful, and though my husband(s) were supportive, I didn't experience the connection with them in such an intimate way.
Only one husband per birth ;) I've been married twice and had two children with each man.
