Bring on the Robots
In pondering the household devices I use today, I realize how time-saving they are compared to the good ‘ol days (let’s say in the flyover states in the 1960’s.)
For example, we did have a dishwasher, but it was more special than children so my brother and I had to do the dishes by hand while constantly arguing over who would rinse if one was assigned to wash and the other to dry. Then there was the repetitive trudge to the television set when you wanted to change to one of the other two channels you received. Remote controls belonged only to NASA, not the average Joe. Worst of all, was the unfortunate car passenger who had to get out in the heat/cold to open/close the garage door. I could go on and on as old people do... But you have probably heard all this before around the table at Thanksgiving or Eid el- Fitr or Christmas or Hannukah...
Mercy me! The buttons and gadgets we have today that so many whippersnappers don’t appreciate. But hey, there is a bright future ahead!
Bring on the robots! I dislike the tasks of walking the dog, emptying the dishwasher, opening wine bottles, and folding & putting away the laundry. Oh, and cleaning the toilet. Yes! Any help I can get -Nano or otherwise- will give me more time to delve into the mystery of cryptocurrency and sending my drone out on secret missions.
