THE MONSTER
At 2 in the morning, I was awakened by the voice of my son shouting from his room.
-Dad! dad!
I got up quickly and ran thinking that something bad was happening.
-What happens, son, why are you screaming?
-There is a monster inside the house.
In my mind I thought that it was probably just a nightmare, which made my son feel afraid, but to show him that nothing was happening and he felt calmer I decided to check the house.
-Son quiet, look around the house and there is absolutely nothing, it was just a nightmare, go back to sleep.
When I was tucking him in, shivering and pleading he told me:
-Dad please look under my bed, in case there is a monster.
I decided to do it so that I was calm, but under the bed I only found my son trembling desperately and whispering he said:
-Shhhhh, hide daddy something is in my bed.
