I really liked your sincerity. However I differ in the following:

Through writing, I found an escape from the real world. I found relief in the world I created for myself.

For me, literature is not an escape from the real world, it is a connection with the world around us. With writing I translate the messages of the universe, it is my perception and it can be unique (maybe!)
