Bueno el dia 14 de Enero fue el dia de la Divina Pastora aqui en Venezuela - Lara, es un gran dia y se celebra de una hermosa manera. La Divina Pastora de Barquisimeto es una advocación mariana de la Iglesia católica. Su imagen tiene su principal centro de veneración en el Santuario de Santa Rosa situado en la parroquia Santa Rosa de Barquisimeto, es la patrona de la ciudad. Cada 14 de enero se celebra una multitudinaria peregrinación mariana, que es considerada la tercera más grande a nivel mundial, solo es superada por la que se hace con la Virgen de Guadalupe (México) y la Virgen de Fátima (Portugal). Sin embargo, tiene un toque auténtico y es que la imagen de la Virgen sí sale de su templo y recorre buena parte de la ciudad. Por lo tanto, se puede decir que es la procesión mariana más grande del mundo en lo que respecta a nivel de asistencia. Entonces todos los 14 de Enero la caminan de Santa Rosa, hasta la iglesia Catedral orando y haciéndole promesas, unos la cargan y otros hacen una cadena humana para la seguridad de la virgen y se le hacen muchas misas y homenajes hermosos ese dia
