Terrorism long-term effects on Pakistan, lost lives, 250Billion$loss to economy - War against Terror

in #writing7 years ago

Pakistan's role in war against terror begin after invasion of Soviet Union of Greater Russia, when they tried to Afghanistan and somehow reach to warm waters close to Gawadar of Pakistan.

Pakistan’s role in fighting against terrorism has crossed more than a decade which is around 16 years, the main ground reality by western-linked sponsored media claims the terrorism after 9/11 but it is not 100% a ground reality. Pakistan fighting all anti-Pakistan elements after Soviet Union when they attempted to invade Afghanistan.

Since independence, Pakistan has fought 4 wars against India. It also had several border clashes with Afghanistan, but these were skirmishes and not wars.

Pakistan also played a role supplying the Mujahideen with weapons, training them in their use and carrying out covert operations against Soviet troops on several occasions during the Soviet-Afghan war. Now, while, her role was significant in ensuring the withdrawal of Soviet forces.

 Pakistan’s military participation was minimal and hence, we can say that Pakistan won the Soviet-Afghan war any more than we can say that the USSR won the Vietnam War. The London News Agency Peter Oborne newspaper (DailyMail) wrote the article in March 4, 2017.

General Bajwa (COAS) attended security conference in Germany and told the world;

 “Jihad can only be sanctioned by state”

 Furthermore,

Bajwa said to GC, that Pakistan lost 70,000 citizens in war against terrorism and bears the loss of 250B Dollars to Economy, while receiving hardly 10Billions of Dollars in Aid. Should not be blamed for United State of America's failed strategy in Afghanistan , U.S is scapegoating Pakistan for all failures in Afghanistan,

Bajwa said,

Gen Bajwa asked the American leadership to instead search for the reasons for its failures in the war-torn country.
We hope for the Humanity to end this long-going crises, and move towards peace and stability, the entire world needs to recognize the efforts and sacrifices made by Pakistan after 9/11.
