RE: A look at Plagiarism from 1933 compared to the blockchain
Dear @rebeccabe,
I believe that we are really making an advent with the whole plagiarism thing. Now that I am in Australia, we do have this turnitin software that automatically detects if you plagiarized. AKA your essay/work is made up of chopped up works from different authors.
I am so grateful with the software. Though I am still having anxiety attacks because, I feel that whenever I upload my work, it might turn out above the acceptable range(above 30%).
That is some good software. I had not heard of it before. I guess when people are writing for school that would be really good. @nurseanne84 are you working as a nurse in Australia?
Unfortunately no at this moment as I am still trying to complete the requirements for my registration here. Yes. it is indeed a powerful tools especially when people accuse you of cheating or copying.
Its also a great way to catch people who usually copy/paste their work from the net(did I tell you that this upsets me very much because basically, they get better grades than I do?)
Oh my. I worked as a therapist in hospitals for 30 years. Both my Mother and Grandmother were nurses. You might say I was raised by nurses. Make sure you get plenty of clinical time too. Nice to know more about you.
How does it feel to be raised by nurses? is it overkill? because where I am now, I am imagining me becoming so OCD with my child. hahahahaha
Well, you have to be real-real sick otherwise no sympathy. Also I remember once as a child telling mom I had a headache and she said to go away children do not get headaches. lol
Back in the day when grandma was a nurse she had penicillin at home and if we were sick ... well it could happen lol
Yeah. I do that too but with my mom and dad. Like, when they hurt and they kept repeating themselves I would be like: there's a reason I bought topical analgesics up there in the medicine cabinet! help yourself. hahahahaha
I am like them lol
I do not like taking pills but if really in pain sometimes we have to.
Actually, there are two types of pain relievers I keep: one type is tablets/pills (For EXTREME EXCRUCIATING wtf I am dying pain) and, the topical ones- the ones you just rub into your skin for trivial things like headache, muscle pain, etc.
i just want to take care of them and, taking a lot of pain medications is really not good all the time. it damages your liver and kidney. So, I get the topical ones for those trivial pains. hahaha
