I'm so glad it has helped you :). I later found out that the very first day this happened, we were not totally prepared for water for ourselves, and we went threw about 6 stored water bottles easily in 10 minutes, because we were not ready or expecting to water our animals as well. So the flood has taught us quite a lot and has motivated my parents to do the right thing, like downsize on chickens, downsize on old books and other items.
But I do hope your doing better and sorry for the delay, steemit has a one month waiting period for getting into this.

PS: I say 30 minute boil because I tend to over kill things :) cuz Ecoli is essentially a bully and what do you do with bullies? You beat them up and make sure they don't get up again :)
