The Insomniac and The Devil-finale

The Insomniac found himself back in the darkness, only this time a bright ray of light burned from where he was standing. He looked at his right hand and where he usually saw nothing at all was a golden sword that glowed with the brightness and warmth of the sun held in his firm grip. Wielding this mysterious and divine weapon like a torch the determined man made his way through the darkness, waiting for that coward The Devil to show his ugly face. This time, The Insomniac could feel The Devil's fear, the coward hadn't expected him to find that book and now he was gonna pay.
The Devil hid in the dark, trembling with fear. He had that miserable little wretch in his grasp but somehow that man got in touch with... HIM! The reason for The Devil's hatred of man had returned to torment him again before the time. The Devil was not ready to give up however, if he could find a way to sneak up on The Insomniac and get around that sword before he had a chance to use it, that just might work. The Devil started towards the man, this time trying his best to stay out of the light and using the darkness as camouflage. What he didn't know was that The Insomniac could hear every move he made and when The Devil went to lunge at him The Insomniac spun around with the speed of a lightning bolt and struck him with the powerful sword, bringing the demonic foe to his knees.
Smoke and sin oozed from the gaping wound that ran across The Devil's chest. He coughed and sputtered like a dying engine and the light from the sword burned his skin with the intensity of Hell itself.
"Fine, you win for now!" The Devil said, refusing to look at The Insomniac who stood over his collapsed form as David had over Goliath. "Don't get comfy, I'll be back and I'll be waiting for you." The Devil continued, covering his wound in embarrassment.
"So will I and so will HE!" The Insomniac declared in victory. The Devil fell on his face and vanished in a puff of black smoke and immediately peace washed over the redeemed man like a tidal wave of living water. That morning, he woke up to the feeling of renewal and a sense of purpose and finally for the first time in years he felt well rested.
THE END
Beautiful imagery, is there going to be a sequel to this??
Perhaps, it will probably be more of a spiritual sequel than a direct sequel.
I'll take what i can get
