Living In Simplicity Is Worth Celebrating

For me, my mother's cooking is far more delicious than a meal in a restaurant. There is a sense of affection from the mother's cooking that makes love circulate in my bloodstream, rather than eating fancy and expensive food. But, maybe not so if I never feel wandering and away from family.

On the beach miss with mountains, on the mountain missed the beach. We always want what we do not yet have. If you already have, would be bored and want another. In the past, when I lived with my family, I really wanted to go abroad and feel the joy of adventure in the land of another country. Now, after many years away from family, I really miss home. Missing the simple things like wanting to go home and be greeted by a beautiful smile from my mother, sitting at the table with the family, to simple dishes like vegetables and clear tempeh. However, as I have mentioned, it may not be so if I have never felt wandering and away from family.

Humans have traits that tend to dislike stagnation. For example, in the analysis of behavioral theories when making business decisions, it is said that humans tend to take risky and irrational business decisions, when they are in too much certainty and just because they want to see the reaction or consequences of the decision.

We always want new things, things we do not already have, that's interesting and we think we'll be happy. The neighbor's grass is always greener, not yet added to the parasite of endless desires. It is difficult to simplify life if we continue to see others, let alone scattered on social media. Do not chase the mountain while you're at the beach, then chase the beach while in the mountains. Just enjoy where we are.

"I will be happy, if I am already working and have my own income". Then when you work with your own income, somehow the fees are also getting bigger and billing accounts are everywhere, the time feels so narrow and busy, the work becomes no longer exciting. Then where is happiness?

"I will be happy to marry the person I love". Then when married, a series of new problems have arisen, the problem of buying a house, buying household needs, fighting in a household / fighting with a spouse. Then where is happiness?

"I will be happy when I retire and be able to enjoy my life in peace". Then when they retire, the kids are busy with their own affairs, do not have time for us, and the disease starts to gnaw the body, maybe we just lie in bed. Then where is happiness?

We always pursue beings named happy. Yet happiness is always ahead, in the future. The word "happiness" often paired with the words "if" and "gone". Maybe a little kid who does not have something much happier than us. Those who live with wooden houses and small families, may be happier than those who live in the palace of the majestic white building, but the family is far from the side.

As we get older, we begin to set targets in life, making the expectations we want to fulfill. The problem, by definition, is the gap between expectations and reality, between needs and what is available, between what is and what is and what is. That's the source of installation problems.

Little prince story, tells of a pilot who meets a small prince from outer space. pinned his view of the man who often misinterpreted and forgot simple truths as he grew up.

With a horde of birds, the little prince explored the universe. On this trip the little prince visited some asteroids. On the first asteroid, the little prince meets a king who claims to master all things, including the stars and can command them to do anything. When the little prince made a request to the king, the king argued that his request would be given under certain conditions and at certain times laughing, as if he doubted his own power, contrary to his assertion that the king was in control of everything.

On the second asteroid, the little prince meets the arrogant person, the person is described as a very crazy praise. He asked the little prince to clap his hands so he could lift his hat and mutate to himself. He thinks he is the greatest person on the planet. He thinks that everyone is a fan. In fact, there is only one person on this planet: himself (the arrogant person).

In the next asteroid, a small prince who meets an obsessive businessman is busy counting the stars. The little prince asked, what counts endlessly? Employers say to make a profit, earn more money and get rich. The little prince asked, what's going to get rich? Employers answer to buy more stars! The little prince was puzzled by the peculiarities of adults.

The person lives by their own assumptions, by imagining their own imagination, with happiness depended on a sometimes self-defeating benchmark. When was the last time our happiness lies in simplicity? Do not we realize that they are all illusions?

"Growing is not a problem, forget it." One can only see the best through his heart. Because the most important (in life), not visible to the eye. Would not simplicity be happier ?. Greetings from @youngky.
