WWE simply told us on RAW: Next week's heavy heel turn, the theory of a feud with the 18-year-old after SummerSlam?
Welcome to this week's edition of what WWE called the Numerals on Raw. It was the final episode of SummerSlam 2022, and it wasn't very impressive, to say the least.
That it was all bad, but it certainly wasn't up to the usual standard that this year was on Monday Night Raw. The consensus seems to be that the Red Brand has been far better than SmackDown in 2022.
Either way, a few things that WWE told us in an episode that lacked a lot of star power.
Damien Priest defeated Rey Mysterio on this week's episode of Raw. Judgment Day continues to pursue Dominic Mysterio and inevitably forces him to say that he will join the group; Had he not done so, they would have attacked his father.
While Dominic agreed, they told him it didn't work that way and attacked him instead. Next week, the two teams will face off at Madison Square Garden on the same night as the 20th anniversary of Rey Mysterio's WWE debut.
While this week it looked like there was no chance of Dominic Mysterio turning the heel, it's the same swing that WWE has used to frustrate fans. Something big is expected next week.
Theory loses a lot for a superstar who has achieved so much in less than a year. Last week, Riddle, Bobby Lashley, and 18-year wrestling legend Dolph Ziggler faced them by match.
It was deserved, however, as Theory knocked Ziggler down before Legend blasted him with a superkick, helping AJ Styles take the win. It looks like Theory vs Ziggler will be directing on Raw after SummerSlam 2022.
In one of the weaker sections and matches, The Street Profits faced MVP and Omos. This led to a match between Angelo Dawkins and Omos, where the former won via disqualification.
Adam Pierce then booked a tag team match between The Street Profits and the pairing of MVP and Omos. The end of that match was also dusty. However, the tall Usos foreshadow the fact that their undisputed tag team title could soon end at the hands of The Street Profits.
