How I Would Book WrestleMania 35! (Part One).jpg

Pre-Show

André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Winner: EC3
After seeing EC3 in NXT, I believe Ethan Carter III can be a prominent figure in WWE's future. I think it would be cool to hint at his victory by him eliminating some the previous winners (Matt Hardy, Mojo Rawley, Big Show and Cesaro) and then cap it off by throwing out Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men can be easily built back up, so taking the L to push EC3 forward wouldn't necessarily harm him. Proceed this by having EC3 be a cocky heel, boasting that he eliminated most of the previous winners and unlike them, he's going to become WWE Champion.

WrestleMania Woman's Battle Royal
Winner: Asuka
I, like most of the WWE Universe, are upset at the booking of Asuka this past week. Having her lose the SmackDown Woman's Championship to Charlotte is a despicable way to treat one of your greatest stars. I have a theory for this decision, however choosing to do so this close to WrestleMania and after they booked a Fatal Four-Way match to decide the challenger for the title have rubbed people off the wrong way. I believe allowing Asuka to win this battle royal can set her position to reclaim the title. Going forward, have Asuka face last year's winner, Naomi, to decide the No. 1 contender.

Champions vs. Champions Match
RAW Tag Team Champions, Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson: The Revival vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Jimmy & Jey: The Usos
Winners: The Usos
No real plans have been made for either brand's tag team champions. I think The Revival vs. The Usos would be a phenomenal match up. I understand The Revival has been booked poorly, even with them holding titles, so a loss at WrestleMania wouldn't be ideal. However, The Usos are an extremely dominant team and it is unbelievable for them to lose after their history of victories. A good babyface victory for The Usos would be a great way to show off SmackDown's tag team division and make them a highlight, especially since it's highly unlikely any SmackDown championship will be close to the main card's main event.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley (with Lio Rush) vs. Demon Finn Bálor
Winner: And new Intercontinental Champion, Finn Bálor
I know it's annoying to see this match again, plus it's extra annoying how champions come out first in a championship match, but I think this match could be a good showcase for all men involved. Have Bobby Lashley enter first with Lio Rush hyping him up the entire way down the entrance ramp. Really dig in the fact that Bobby is a towering mass of humanity. As soon as they get to the ring, have the arena go dark and hit the demonic tones. In comes Demon Finn Bálor, with a huge entrance flanked by other people in similar face paint. Bobby and Finn can go back and forth, with Bobby being a muscle head dominating with pure strength, and Finn responding with hard hitting strikes and quick paced action. Bobby needs to come off as a capable threat, even to the Demon, but in the end, Finn should win.

Ladder Match for Cruiserweight Championship
Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese
Winner: And still Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy
100%, the Cruiserweights deserve to be on the main card. And in some stipulation that provides them the chance to show off their skills. A ladder match at WrestleMania is almost a staple, yet none have been announced. Here is the perfect opportunity for 205 Live to shine, Murphy and Nese having a killer of a ladder match, showing off high spots and action to prove their skills. Buddy Murphy has been killing it since Australia's Super Show-Down, and personally, I'm unsure of Tony Nese's capability to hold 205 Live in the air. His skill is impressive, but Murphy needs another more challenging opponent to take the title from him.

Falls Count Anywhere Match
The Miz vs. Shane McMahon
Winner: The Miz
The heel turn of Shane McMahon was expected, although in my opinion, this match up is one of the most anticipated. I'm sure it'll be nothing but a few big spots and Shane being a dick, but maybe that's all it has to be. Imagine The Miz being a huge face and coming down to the ring with Maryse with maybe even their child, Monroe Sky (not a band). Maybe MAYBE even The Miz's dad, or have all of them together in the crowd. Shane can then come down and not dance, instead have a group of four men hold his Best in the World trophy on a stand. He can just be the cocky prick he was always meant to be. I believe The Miz should win out here, they could perhaps plug Miz & Mrs. or something.

United States Championship Match
United States Champion Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio
Winner: And new United States Champion, Rey Mysterio
This match will hopefully be a showcase of their skills, Rey and Joe are incredible performers and can have a stellar match. Although it'll be weird if they attempt it, but since Dominic is partially involved with this, maybe Joe could pull the "I'm your daddy" line like with AJ Styles. I think Rey should win in a showcase match, becoming new United States Champion. However, Joe should attack Rey after the match and trap him the Coquina Clutch, at which point Dominic should run in for the save. There's video evidence of Dominic practicing the 619 with Rey, so I think Dominic should come in with the 619 to a huge pop!

That's it for now! I haven't had time to write all of my fantasy booking for WrestleMania 35, so I'll complete it next week! Part two will be released two days before the event itself! I hope you've all enjoyed this read, give me your opinions in the comments! Also, are you excited for WrestleMania this year?

Oooo WWE it is then. First of all, I have this sister of my who loves watching wrestling a lot and anytime she is free with her phone she just gets to the Internet to watch wrestling.
Now back to your write up, I wait to read all that the part II has for us. And at first I saw wrestling as a game that is not opened for all to go and watch it live but after your blog this day. I can see anyone can get there provided he has all it takes to get in there.
I really enjoyed your blog and hope to read amazing stuffs from your end soon

I remember that WrestleMania was one of my favorite event when I was a child: my dad recorded me all the fights on a VHS and during the following days I watched them. That was really amazing for me: today I understand that a lot of things are changed and the main characters too: John Cena, Triple H, Batista and Brook Lesner.
I enjoy knowing that there are so many fans right now and you are one of them!
