RIPPLE AND COINBASE: SORRY NOT GOING TO HAPPEN....YET
Coinbase will not be adding any new coins and that made Ripple mad. As stated by the article, "Ripple fell to as low as $2.65 after reaching an all-time high of $3.30 earlier Thursday. The coin was down 1.1 percent on the day to $2.78 as of 2:52 p.m. in New York. "
The true impact of this announcement and the price of Ripple is clear in the price drop. If you have been following this coin and the different sites devoted to it, many of the sites speculated that Coinbase was probably going to add ripple as it's new coin [and Monero]. Thus, the news that came out today put that rumor to rest...for now anyway.
I honestly, feel that with the moves Ripple is making [and Monero] it is only a matter of time before it is added to Coinbase and when that happens get out of the way because the price will go up.
