XRP has been added by the company Bitcoin Superstore that now allows customers to purchase from over 200,000 online retailers via XRP and 5 other cryptocurrencies. A boost to XRP adoption, this has the XRP community excited.

XRP has been added by the Bitcoin Superstore to its list of cryptocurrencies that are accepted by them to make the purchase on the online stores like Amazon, Google Express, and others.

Bitcoin Superstore already accepts, Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Dash (DASH). And now it has added the world’s third-largest cryptocurrency to its limited list, much to the delight of XRP community.

Now, XRP can be used to make the purchase on over 200,000 online shops. They also have various gift cards available that you can buy and add value in the range of $25 to $500. The gift cards involve popular brands such as Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart, Nike, and Visa. Also, they have retailer eGift cards like J.Crew, Forever 21, American Eagle Outfitters and many others.

In order to make the purchase, one has to input the product name, URL of the site, listed price along with its shipping costs. Then one add this to the cart and by selecting the payment mode i.e. fiat or cryptocurrency, you checkout.

The XRP community is excited of the jump this will give to XRP’s adoption. One Twitter user said,

“Great work! So essentially anything at Walmart, Amazon, Starbucks, etc could now be purchased with XRP through the Bitcoin Superstore platform.”

To which the company replied,

“Precisely! Nearly anything you can order online can be purchased with XRP through our company.”

However, the company mistakenly using Ripple instead of XRP didn’t go well with the community as they corrected just like this Twitter user, “Although it’s a lovely initiative, though you’re kicking off very bad… @Ripple is a company & $XRP is the digital asset that you’re referring to. This has to be clarified. You’re accepting #XRP and not #Ripple. Thank you.” Bitcoin Superstore assured to make the changes and not to “make that mistake again.”

“May have to change our name and logo if all this love continues!” the company responded as one of the most supportive and active communities in the crypto market praised the company for XRP addition.
