Sharpening your brain

If you could increase the physical power of your brain, then theoretically you could achieve almost anything. Although a healthy and strong body is also very important, most of us probably find that our activities depend more on our cognitive abilities than on our own, many people work with computers, and for example, this means that we need to use our brains to process data, manipulate software or develop business strategies. Much of our success comes down to our ability to interact with others, which of course depends a lot on our intelligence and the activity of our brains. You come to you with a presentation and choose the best words to convey your message, or you are in an interview or on a date and try to quickly come up with the sharpest or funniest answer to a question. Problems at home, such as rules, financial implications, figuring out a situation or legal issues - there are very few problems that we can solve with calculations. In our free time, we are also on the slopes doing more intellectual things. Perhaps we play video games (reacting to enemies and solving puzzles), or perhaps we sit and read. And even when activities seem “physical” at first glance, they are often just as cognitive. Take sports, for example, which require you to be aware of the positions of your teammates and opponents, and to use your body effectively and accurately in space. Or how about doing “physical work,” like repairing things—which almost always requires some engineering work.
