What crime did Assange expose in 2016? Russian espionage in our election?

@Fred Freddy Not sure. FYI, 2016 election interference is not what he's being targeted for. The United States is trying to lock up Assange for exposing war crimes they committed.

@Collin Lunsford So, the quote has nothing to do with Assange. 10-4.

U: "The United States is trying to lock up Assange for exposing war crimes they committed. "

I know about the conspiracy to hack into US gov't computers charge.

What do you think Assange is being charged with?

1

Fred Freddy
Fred Freddy

@Anne Chester I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Collin Lunsford
Collin Lunsford

@Fred Freddy Assange is a journalist. A journalist reports stories. He's not a hacker. I assume that some of the people who helped create and still maintain Wikileaks 'can' hack; Wikileaks was created for Assange to release information that was being held secret from the public (so obviously Wikileaks needed/needs skilled computer engineers to evade the governments). I understand why people think that information should have been disclosed to the Pentagon first, but there is no doubt they would have smeared the information either way as they were already covering up the all the civilian deaths from the drone attacks. And there were A LOT. They knew about it... They already f***king knew about it.

The quote stands.

1

Fred Freddy
Fred Freddy

@Collin Lunsford Assange is charged with conspiracy to hack into US gov't computers.

Allegedly, Assange told Chelsea Manning how to hack into gov't computers to get more stuff for publishing.

However, Assange timed the burgled email dump to aid Trump by helping to dampen coverage of Trump's Hollywood Access serial groping confessions.

@Rolf Sautter Which countries did the US election-meddle?

I'm familiar with some from a long time ago during the 1980s and 1960s. Anything recent-ish?

Rolf Sautter
Rolf Sautter
@Fred Freddy More then meddle .Is always active.Even regime changes and trials for regime change. Ukraina -Maidan. Venezuela Bolivia . Brasile. Often in second by so called NGO. In Russia EU ( but EU akcept that ao far(NATO). Iran Turkye and entire Sahel zone.Georgia and so on.USA is a empire has military bases and Private contracters in over 100 countrys. check out reveals from Wiki Leaks and Edward Snowden. So meddeling is just the soft part of what they do.

Fred Freddy
Fred Freddy
@Rolf Sautter So the US has meddled in elections using Non-governmental Oraganizations.

That's allowed. Rather than scatter shot all over, could you note something specific or an instance of this meddling?

I suspect you may have a few real examples to note...provisionally.

Fred Freddy
Fred Freddy

@Rolf Sautter So, you can't cite a single example of election meddling? NGOs are not election meddling.

So I have to sort through YouTube vid. Great.

Okay. Afghanistan. Yes. I would accept that definitely. Afghanistan is not a stable country and never really was a country as we know it.

Honduras had a coup and Clinton supported having elections right afterward. Sort of meddling, maybe.

The US supported elections in Haiti in 2015. No clear winner and we're still waiting for the runoff. That's not election meddling.

Yes. The US overthrew the elected Iranian government in 1953, and installed the brutal Shah/dictator. That was a long time ago.

And, in 1954, fresh from their success in Iran, protecting British rights to extract oil and pay nothing, the CIA went after the Guatemalan government.

(Neat book on Guatemala called "Unfinished Conquest.")

Any recent election meddling?

Rolf Sautter
Rolf Sautter

@Fred Freddy What is electiom meddling against regime change and falsk flag actions. In Syria support of the so called Moderate opisition that is nothing else the ISIS and al kaida. Is much worde then just medlling. Yes they do not meddle as long a country does as the US wants. if not they start with hard gloves. Like ukraina venezuala... But of course the us is just the tool of the deep state. .

Rolf Sautter
Rolf Sautter

Using the alternative warfare is what they did to change opinion in Venezuela. Using the OMF and the world bank to interrupt the econpmie of the country. to start with .Meant to change the opinion inside the country. all about that you can find in wiki leaks . If that is not meddling in election what else? but did not work out in Venezuela. Thanks god.

@Shadoufang Conspiracy to commit any crime is a real thing. Bypassing a security password in an NSA computer network is illegal. So, conspiring with someone to do this is bad...in the eyes of the law.

They might not even be able to prove the case against Assange. He sent hacking software to Whatshername and advised on its operation in messages. Maybe that's not enough.

Besides,

The UK will never extradite Assange to the US under current US management. Barr and trump have created too much chaos in the DOJ with their political witch hunts of Clinton, Comey, McCabe, Biden, and Obama. (None turned up anything.)

And you're still talking like laws and legalities still matter here.

They're torturing Assange.
He has no proper access to his legal team.
No access to medical or psychological treatment.
CIA is dealing drugs.
U.S.A. is supporting terrorism.
//
For what purpose are you talking about "law"? It doesn't matter to them.

"The UK will never extradite Assange to the US"??
They don't have to extradite him to KILL him.
"Law" is relative.

David Edwards You never got to see the Swedish authorities publicly announced that JA is not guilty of any crime, did you? What do you think of the British court pretending to imprison JA for not attending a bail hearing, even though that court had never charged him of a crime? (Which is unlawful to do on behalf of a foreign country which dropped the charges). You obviously think powerful people - whether they are mass murderers like Hillary Clinton trying desperately to cover up incriminating emails, or Iraqui war criminals - are more entitled to respect than those who expose crimes against humanity. That's because you've lived under globalists authority for so long you're quite happy to let them do your thinking for you. You plainly don't have a clue how to do it yourself

@Shadoufang Hello,

U: "Anyway, your proof? "

See the indictments against 12 GRU military intelligence officers. They are public record.

Assange was never tortured, but he is in jail right now.

We don't need to prove Assange isn't being tortured. You made the claim with no evidence. There are no reports of Assange being tortured.

@Shadoufang No one said Assange "hacked the US". The words are there in my post. All you have to do is read them.

Assange is facing charges for conspiracy to hack into an NSA computer network.

Do you understand these words?

If so, we can move to the next part. If not, I will clarify.

@mrebholz Just an fyi, "alternative facts" is a definition provided by trump's emotional support animal, Kellyanne Conway to excuse trump's lies.

An outright lie is called an "alternative fact" when it makes trump happy.

Conversely, when the truth makes trump unhappy, his cult refer to the posit as "fake news".

If you found something false, you would have said what it was and wouldn't have used a trumpian magic phrase.

"See the indictments against 12 GRU military intelligence officers. They are public record.
"
how is that related to: "...but then he became a Russian stooge and sought to saddle us with Trump and Russian influence. "

AND speaking of indicting anyone for horrific acts, any indictment on Israel or Israelis and its meddling in American affairs? :')
Remember 9/11? wink wink Wow. Indictable.

You're simply denying torture of Julian Assange. Proof will come. In the meantime, evidences:

"The Special Rapporteur and his medical team visited the imprisoned Wikileaks founder in May [2019] and reported that he showed “all the symptoms typical for prolonged exposure to psychological torture” and demanded immediate measures for the protection of his health and dignity."

"conspiracy to hack" eh?
Well, why is no one from The Guardian, Spiegel, The New York Post in prison with Julian Assange for the same charges? ;')

Because... because..?

Tell us. Come on!
"Conspiracy to hack"
pfhhhshhhs!
Julian Assange PROTECTED people, but The Guardian published names unredacted! OR published access to unredacted files!

The New York Times lied about Wikileaks releasing materials, too!

Who are you gonna trust?!
Your media and your government?
Or Julian Assange?
