YouTube Trending Page Broken?!
Today I was scrolling... well, rather looking at the trending page on youtube when I noticed that the video "Earth Day 2018 Google Doodle" was the #1 trending video on the platform.
As usual, I assumed that there must've been some massive amount of likes, comments or views on the video that got it to where it was. To my surprise, there were no likes, no comments, and most importantly, there was no view count?
If you do not know already, Youtube is owned by google.
In the official document that outlines what becomes 'trending' on youtube it says, "YouTube does not favor specific creators", but it seems as if they are, indeed, favoring the "googledoodles" channel.

I just wish that they'd be honest with us...
P.S. I do not hate Earth Day at all. I'd actually consider myself an environmentalist and the subject of the video is unrelated to the article.
lol sure they dont you dang well know if its bringing views and ads then they are going to rank it higher
for sure. Some of the best videos that I've seen get suppressed by their monetization system, which is directly related to how much exposure the video gets.
@bitcoinflood The majority of the comments are voted on by you. You are using the system! Instead of conquering your comments, you should give them back to those who have earned...@steemflagrewards
Hi. To successfully develop a business, every entrepreneur should think about presenting themselves well on the Internet, and YouTube will be useful here, where you can easily publish video content with the company’s products and services. Creating a quality channel on this platform is quite simple and anyone can do it. But if anyone has difficulties with this, then you can contact youtube customer service and they will certainly try to help each user so that he can achieve good results.
