Dalam rilisnya, Idawati mempertanyakan atas dasar apa kebijakan tersebut dilakukan, sedangkan seleksi guru kontrak sudah dilakukan. Lalu mengapa masih ada penerimaan guru kontrak secara tertutup setelah itu. “Kenapa sekarang ada lagi penerimaan guru kontrak secara tertutup? Sedangkan kita ketahui bersama bahwa seleksi guru kontrak sudah pernah dilakukan?,” ujarnya.

Lebih lanjut, Idawati mempertanyakan keriteria guru kontrak yang dipanggil langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Bener Meriah. “Ada honorer yang perolehan nilainya pada saat seleksi lebih tinggi dan masa kerjanya juga lebih lama, tapi tidak dipanggil oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan. Sedangkan dari beberapa mereka yang dipanggil memiliki nilai dan masa kerja yang lebih rendah. Kenapa hal seperti ini bisa terjadi?” tanya Idawati.

Idawati juga menyatakan bahwa banyak guru kontrak yang disisipkan ditempatkan untuk mengajar mata pelajaran yang tidak sesuai bidang studinya. “Menurut penelusuran yang kami peroleh di lapangan, guru kontrak yang disisipkan mengajar tidak sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikannya.
