ZenTasktic Update - Alpha Version Available For Testing
As of today, the latest UI improvements are available on the main app URL. If you want to play with the current version of ZenTasktic, which is 0.0.4 (alpha), you can do it at this URL:
Please be warned that this is alpha software and data may and will be wiped, including user accounts, so be prepared to re-register a lot.
What Works Right Now
- create account, sign up with email or Facebook
- basic profile management, changing password
- add, edit and delete tasks in Assess
- add, edit and delete contexts in Assess
- sharing a task with other ZenTasktic users (if they don't have an account, they'll receive an invitation to sign up)
- assigning a task to somebody else
- follow up with the versions of a task in Assess, if the task is shared, that area becomes a realtime chat
- send tasks to Decide, sent tasks to Do
- assign contexts to a task in Decide
Known Bugs
- the money feature is not implemented in Assess, so assigning a value to a task doesn't work yet
- assigning a date to a task in Decide doesn't work, a replacement for the date picker is in the works, possibly ready by the end of the week
- because of the above bug, testing a complete workflow Assess-Decide-Do is not possible at the moment. I released the app in this state mostly to ask feedback about user interface and user experience
I'm still learning the JavaScript implementations of the Steem blockchain and I expect to be able to link a ZenTasktic account to a Steem account in about 2 weeks (beginning of December).
If you are new to Steemit or this project, I highly encourage you to have a look at the introductory post about ZenTasktic on its own blog: The Why?.
ALL funds you send to this account - directly or by upvoting - will be used to cover development costs. At this moment I'm on the free plan of Firebase but I expect costs to rise fast once we're out of alpha and people will start using the app on a daily basis. So every upvote, resteem or donation will be greately appreciated.
Yours, @zentasktic
Hi! Just a quick recommendation...I would include links to posts that explain what Zentasktic is and why people want to use it/sign up for/test it. A lot of new-to-you readers are going to see this and hesitate because they don't know what it is, and the sign in/register page is not exactly welcoming, especially for curious people.
I would definitely include your blog post The "WHY?" with future announcements. Just some random thoughts! Best wishes on your project :)
Thanks, that's a great recommendation :)
