Captivity

I met this amazing guy on my my trip to Berlin. I appreciate why we have zoo's etc but I still feel that if animals could speak they would much rather spend a few weeks alive in the wild and be free than to spend a lifetime in a zoo.

You captured me, imprisoned me,
Fed me to your people.
They stare at me, they poke at me
Where else would I rather be?
Camera lenses and big bright flashes,
Screaming children.....punishment to my ears,
But it's where the cash is.
Free me, release me, where is my family?
Enough is enough,
This is my life in captivity
