Orange Chicken

Ingredients:

-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-1/4 cup orange juice
-1/4 cup honey
-1/4 cup soy sauce
-1/4 cup ketchup
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1/4 cup cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the chicken cubes to the skillet and cook until they are lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

  5. Pour the orange juice mixture over the chicken and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water until it forms a paste.

  7. Add the cornstarch paste to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

  8. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy!

橙子鸡

原料:

-4块无骨,无皮鸡胸肉
-1/4杯橙汁
-1/4杯蜂蜜
-1/4杯酱油
-1/4杯番茄酱
-1茶匙蒜粉
-1/2茶匙磨碎姜
-1/4茶匙红辣椒片
-1汤匙橄榄油
-1/4杯玉米淀粉

做法:

1.将鸡胸肉切成1英寸的立方体,备用。

2.在一个中等大小的碗里,将橙汁,蜂蜜,酱油,番茄酱,蒜粉,磨碎姜和红辣椒片搅拌均匀。

3.在一个大平底锅中加入橄榄油,中火加热。

4.将鸡块放入平底锅中,煎至微微焦黄,大约5分钟。

5.将橙汁混合物倒入鸡块中,调低火,小火煮10分钟,偶尔搅拌。

6.在一个小碗里,将玉米淀粉和2汤匙水搅拌至糊状。

7.将玉米淀粉糊加入平底锅中,搅拌直至汁浓稠,大约5分钟。

8.放在米饭或面条上即可享用!
