Dysdercus

All steemian friends. I hope all of you are in good health. I want to take this opportunity to show you some beetle photography.

Dysdercus is a species of true ladybug in the family Pyrrhocoridae. Bapak pucung is a pest for cotton plants. Adult and old nymphs feed on emerging bolls and maturing bolls, dysdercus growing to about 12–18 mm long. This species has a predominant red coloration, but they also have a white collar and three black spots.
