Lifting heavy weight lifting for longer periods gives your muscles the same benefit as heavy weight lifting. But, the weight you take affects your fibers of muscles. The weight of weight lifting determines the type of power you get. Heavy lifting increases muscle mass and your body increases the secretion of hormones that eliminate fat.
The best/ most efficient/ build-up of muscle is to do a single repetition in a 5-10 second period. For example - Bicep Curls = 1 Upward movement in 5-10 seconds! 1 Downward movement in 5-10 seconds! The muscles being exercised are having to work harder and longer for less! x
