FROG
In a lush forest surrounded by misty mountains, there lived a curious little frog named Felix. Unlike other frogs, Felix was not content hopping around the pond or leaping from lily pad to lily pad. He had a dream—an impossible one, according to his friends: Felix wanted to fly.
"Frogs don’t fly, Felix," his elder brother croaked one day. "Stick to what you're good at—hopping and swimming."
But Felix wasn’t one to give up. Every night, he’d sit by the pond, gazing at the stars, imagining himself soaring through the sky like the birds he admired.
One day, Felix met a wise old owl named Orion. "What brings you here, young frog?" asked Orion, perched on a low branch.
"I want to fly, but everyone says it’s impossible," Felix confessed.
Orion blinked slowly. "Impossible is just another word for a challenge. If you're determined, there’s always a way."
Inspired, Felix set out to find a way to achieve his dream. First, he tried tying leaves to his arms and jumping off a small rock. He flopped into the pond. Next, he fashioned wings out of feathers he found on the forest floor. But the wind blew them away before he even leaped.
Just when he was about to lose hope, Felix stumbled upon an injured bird named Bella. Her wing was hurt, and she couldn’t fly. Felix took care of her, bringing her water and food every day. Grateful, Bella shared stories about flying.
"Flying isn’t just about wings," Bella explained one evening. "It’s about understanding the wind, trusting it, and letting it carry you."
As Bella healed, she decided to help Felix in return. She gathered vines and taught him how to create a glider. Together, they tested it, refining the design until it was ready.
The big day arrived. Felix climbed to the top of a hill, glider strapped to his back. Bella chirped encouragingly. "Remember, trust the wind!"
With a deep breath, Felix leaped into the air. For a moment, he felt weightless, the wind rushing past him. And then—he soared! The forest spread out below him, a patchwork of green and gold. He laughed in pure joy as he glided through the air, his dream finally realized.
From that day on, Felix became known as the Flying Frog. He inspired not just his fellow frogs but all the creatures in the forest, proving that with determination and creativity, even the wildest dreams can come true.
