RE: Excavations at the Lamuri kingdom historic site

in #archeology7 years ago

I believe that the research team obtained important data and facts about the Kingdom of Lamuri that could become a historical science for the people. Among them are the discovery of pottery and ceramics from China, Vietnam, and Thailand which shows the cultural exchanges between the Lamuri Kingdom and the nations of the world.

I see in the photographs above there are Independent Archaeologist Dedi Satria whose research in Aceh all this time has been pretty good. I hope that this kind of research should continue to be carried out by independent researchers, research teams from universities, research teams from government agencies such as National Archaeological bodies, and should receive serious support from the government. It is important to form a team of researchers involving Akeolog, Historian, and Geographer. Because there is still a lot of evidence in the form of traces of the history of Lamuri Kingdom, the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam, and the Kingdom of Samudra Pasai that has not been revealed.

For example, how the spatial of the city of Lamuri Kingdom, the spatial of the city of Aceh Darussalam Kingdom, and the spatial of the city of the Kingdom of Samudra Pasai. In addition, it is necessary to also track where the former royal palace is located. So it needs to do research with archeology approach, history and geography approach.

Furthermore, it also needs to involve building experts (architecture) to redesign, how the royal palace shape, so that it can be built a replica of the palace that can be an attraction for foreign tourists.

Thanks @vannour for sharing information, photos and videos very interesting.
