In that case, in my opinion, people who post amateur vacation photos, food photos, and snapshots of friends and sunsets, taken with a modern high tech phone should stop using the "art" tag. Because it's the wrong tag for them. They should at least not put the art tag first, photography should be first. Yet when I search for "art" on Steemit, 7 or 8 or even 9 out of 10 are photos!

I've trained art basically almost every day of my life from when I was about 3 or 4, until now (58). I've tested all the styles, all the art forms, I've even been a photographer too. I even developed and enlarged my own films.

Yet, even with less followers than me, they get paid better.

Steemit is often not 'fair', but at least we can earn something. Tags are often misused and that can make them useless. Maybe communities will work better as I expect them to be moderated.
