'Blue Moon'

It is not a real blue moon but the colour of the light and the round shape somehow remind me of it. Have you ever seen a blue moon? It is a quite rare atmospheric phenomenon that cannot be overlooked. A source of ideas and inspirations for many art forms. So why not use it abstractly, only to direct the observers toward the feeling they would have if a real blue moon was right here in front of us? :)

The colour range stretches from cyan to almost purple, with blue and between. On the cracked wall, there are many different tones of presented colours. Notice the extreme difference between the perfect cyan shape on the right side against the uneven, rundown cracked wall all over the image. The cyan colour binds them together, only to be exchanged for darker tones as the light fades away. Can you see the darkened corners which close the composition, making sure that the observation ends in the middle part? Right on the crack, which is there to counter the perfection of the cyan area.

Do you see a small dark circle on the left side of the frame? When noticed, it immediately binds the attention to itself. There is also a connection between it and the cyan half-circle.

Enjoy! :)
