What is your (Crypto) wallet!? 2018 Predictions

in #bitcoin7 years ago

I've decided to write a post that isn't just tons of charts and other peoples analysis; just my own thoughts behind the coins that I have and where I think they are going.

Bitcoin - While still down 3k from last months peak I am hoping that some more major partnership announcements like E-Bay could push it back up to the 20k range.

Ripple - Crypto purests tend to give ripple the finger, but I feel like there will be a big bubble to ride before it bursts. If/when XRP is listed on CoinBase and/or it passes bitcoin in marketcap. With it being so cheap lots of casual crypto investors will jump on it solely based on the fear of missing out.

Stellar - The IBM partnership might yield some good results

Steem - I like the idea behind the community and plan on holding and trying to build a following.

Tron - I got in when it was cheap, I think it has potential but there 5 year plan might as well be a 100 year plan in cypto years, so time will tell.

Please offer your own predictions on these coins or other coins you have, I would like to get some decent dialogue going!

I'd love to offer some predictions, but so far all I've managed to do is open a Coinbase account and buy £10 worth of Etherium. I completely missed out on Bitcoin and that miniscule amount of Etherium, is the only Crypto purchase I've ever made.

Your meme made me laugh so hard, I spurted coffee down my nose. It's how I feel every day on Steemit, I go from 'what the hell?!!' to 'I'm a Steemit goddess!!?' several times a day and back again.

I'm looking forward to more of your posts, so I can learn more, and who knows, in four weeks time, I may be able offer more intelligent comments. 😆

I feel like I was more nervous when I made my first Crypto transfer than I was the first time I drove a car lol

OMG tell me about it. It's now just sitting in Coinbase looking all shiny and I don't know what to do with it!! 😂😂

Hi @bigguyandrusty your big picture idea makes sense. New waves of direct buyers are going to enter the market with each macro event. Additionally and probably more importantly in terms of extending the bull market it will be the ease in which institutional and traditional retail stock investors find a way to participate without going into crypto exchanges directly (ETFs, futures, etc). That kind of access could allow $trillion+ to rapidly flow into coins. Outside of the top five coins I think fintech coins like Bancor, Komodo, Crypterium and others are very interesting for the needed fundamental utility of all coins to be effective. After all digital coins represent a type of money and money needs to be easily transferred to be useful. Another interesting category are coins that support blockchains for replacing already proven sectors like Steem for social media and TRON for artistic media.

I agree that widespread adoption will lead to long term stability and acceptance, for whatever reason most of the public still thinks this is a fad, as the overall crypto marketcap keeps creeping up and up.
