Casper is the POS protocol that Ethereum has chosen to go with. While there has been an entire team busy creating it, Vlad Zamfir is often credited as being the “Face of Casper.”...it is still believed it has got many flaws though
Ethereum is the 2nd largest cryptocurrency, and for good reason. Unlike bitcoin, the underlying technology is smart-contracts.
I predict that ETH is here to stay. It also makes for an interesting crypto investment. Many companies are interested in the technology and more and more things are being built on the ethereum platform everyday.
Ethereum is like trying to fix a car whilst driving.

Hey Ivan, what are your thoughts with FishBank game coming in the Ethereum platform on March 18th, 2018?..looks like this game is getting a lot of hype starting in China...once this game is launched, would it crash the Ethereum platform the same way it did with the cryptokitties?
ETH wont be able to switch to PoS, and theres no way for a long term viability.
Now, is a useful tool, but coming the next platforms like EOS, it will be obsolete pretty soon,
at least, in my opinion, hehe.

Neither proof of stake or proof of work is ideal as it enables people who already have crypto net worth to increase it. However no financial system is perfect, teh network needs to be incentivised, and at least with crypto the "fees" are transparent. Proof of stake has yet to be proven but at least the leverage is linear and does not require the consumption of large quantities of electricity just to facilitate the network.
