Tomorrow, I fight

Training in Jiu Jitsu is something I love to do. So do all these folks. It is a way of staying active and healthy, learn some self defense, and become a total badass killer!

This weekend is the annual tourney put on by our parent academy Toronto BJJ http://torontobjj.com/home.cfm and I am attending for the 5th time? I have gotten squashed off the podium, and I have won gold and everything in between. With so many high level Jiu Jitieros from so many schools, the competition will definitely be intense. What makes these fun is seeing all the folks I used to train with before moving from the big city.

I am never really sure what is in store for me as far as performance goes and try to keep cool and easy heading into the fights. I will either win or I will learn.

Another victory no matter how things turn out, is my little one is competing as well. I can't imagine having the ability to fight in a tournament when I was that young. Blows my mind. So proud of her already.

Wish me luck and I will let you know how it goes!

Looks like an intense competition and I wish you luck on the competition. Training for Jui Jitsu must me really tough.

It is as intense as you allow it to be. It is a fight after all but not crazy like mma. Training is not as tough as it is fun and rewarding though. So that makes it easier than you think!

Oh wow, kick ass! :)

Congratulations zeke . Is this the sport Putin is good at?? It looks skillful. Lots of guys from this sport are in the MMA now . What do you make of that ?

What more can I say - but good luck! It takes a lot of guts to practice the arts!
