The City of Dreams

Mumbai city is known by many names and one of it is, people call it city of Dreams. In India people have this perception that it is the most glamourous city and also if you have big dreams you can come and fulfill here in this place. The famous Bollywood movie industry is also based here in Mumbai and this is what attracts most of the people to come and settle here. All those who have passion of acting and making it big in the field of television and cinema want to come to Mumbai and try their luck. Then there is big presence of IT industry and many techies want to come and settle here. Bangalore is the Country's IT hub and after that comes Mumbai. The overall life of Mumbai is glamorous and that's what attracts people from all over the country to come and settle here. Over the years Mumbai has also become a very crowded city. From small town and villages people come and want to settle here because they think that it is easy to get a job in this city. Something or the other will happen here for everyone.

I have seen this city growing from just a handful of skyscrapers to now full city filled with skyscrapers. As a child when I used to go around the city with my dad, I would see very few skyscrapers. In the area that I lived there were just 3 tall buildings and people would call them 3 sisters. Now the whole place is filled with tall rises.

Last night I was out for some work and returning back home and I was watching so many tall buildings all over the city and I was thinking to myself how the city has transformed over the years. 20 years back I had a clear view from my balcony and now all that I see are all buildings in front of me.
