《文化讀癮．一週譯報》又要帶大家去看世界了。這一次，我們要走進印尼亞齊省的高山地區，去欣賞一場特別、壯觀的巨型舞蹈演出。（警告：如果你是密集恐懼症患者，就⋯⋯自己看著辦吧！）

這個舞蹈被稱作「薩滿舞」（Saman Dance），是當地蓋約（Gayo）族人的傳統舞蹈，2011年被列為世界非物質文化遺產。

薩滿舞又譯為「千手舞」，舞者緊密排列跪坐，身穿繡上蓋約族花式的深色或黑色服飾，領導者以蓋約語領唱，然後舞者們彈指、拍擊雙手、胸口、大腿及地面。

薩滿舞——盡顯雨林的豐沛生命

創下世界紀錄的巨型薩滿舞表演

12,262位民眾，包括公務人員、軍警人員，以及學生，參與了2017年8月12日在印尼亞齊省Gayo Lues地區的薩滿舞大型集體演出。薩滿舞在2011年11月24日被聯合國教科文組織（UNESCO）列為世界非物質文化遺產。這是繼前一次由5,054位舞者組成的演出之後，第二次創新紀錄的薩滿舞演出。

薩滿舞是蓋約族人的傳統舞蹈，通常在傳統節慶或文化藝術活動中演出。這是其中一種傳遞古老教法的媒介。

舞蹈中的每一項動作以及唱頌的詩句，都在傳達著有關教育、宗教、禮儀、英勇精神和族群團結的訊息。2011年，聯合國教科文組織在印尼巴里島舉行的「第六屆非物質文化遺產保護政府間委員會會議」（Sixth Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage）中，將薩滿舞列為世界非物質文化遺產。

這是Gayo Lues區政府第二次舉辦此類大型活動，以12,262位舞者的規模刷新印尼世界紀錄博物館（MURI）的紀錄。上一次創下規模紀錄的，是2014年一場由5,054位舞者組成的演出。

這些舞者來自Gayo Lues區當中11個行政分區裡的144個村莊，這個地區被稱為「千山之地」（the country of Seribu Bukit）。這場活動預期將刺激當地旅遊業發展。

亞齊省政府，以及亞齊省省長，皆全力支持列尤擇地區生態系統的保護行動，也極力於開發Gayo Lues區豐富的生態旅遊潛力。
