How to Upvote Buddha
Maijishan Grottes at Tianshui, Gansu, are famous for the Buddhist sculptures and murals. We have a day trip to Maijishan from Xi'an. The name of Maijishan means 'wheat stack hill', which comes from the shape of the hill.

This place is amazing. I would have a serious fear of heights but I would appreciate every second of it.
Yes, it's amazing. Though some sections are closed and most of the grottes are not open, the opened sections are very impressive.
It's beautiful but i might feel scared kniwing how high it is...
Yes, it's beautiful and a little scary. However, it looks very safe. Not sure, how did they do the work one thousands years ago.
What an incredible place! Beautiful photo's, and it doesn't seem too packed with people! Thanks for sharing, upvoted and followed!
When I visit it, it's not that crowded. But still many visitors. Because some passages are narrow, it can be jammed by people. Some photos show no visitor because that section is closed. At other locations, I need to wait some time to find a slot to take the photo with less people.
Everything that comes together falls apart. Everything. The chair I’m sitting on. It was built, and so it will fall apart. I’m gonna fall apart, probably before this chair. And you’re gonna fall apart. The cells and organs and systems that make you you—they came together, grew together, and so must fall apart. The Buddha knew one thing science didn’t prove for millennia after his death: Entropy increases. Things fall apart.
Yes, you are right, even some buddha's sculptures at Maijishan fall apart.
