I wanted to decline payment for this post, but on second thought I think Tim is going to need all the help he can get so every penny from this post will go straight to him.

Oooh Mark...I am so sorry for this terrible loss and that Colette did not make it home to be able to be with loved ones. No words can help heal this pain you are all feeling, just know that I am crying with you. Thank you for sharing this news with us, I know it must have been such a hard video to make. :'( :'( :'( Please keep us informed on how we can help the family get through this with some ease and peace.

Thank you Lyndsay!

One thing I am sure of is that Tim will get the support he needs!

Colette had so many people helping and supporting her and I believe now we will all focus our time and love on Tim & Zebadee to help them make it through these tough times!

Thanks for caring @lyndsaybowes!

Really sorry .. Do not be sad and give up
This is life
Be sure ..God will not oppress anyone
Thanks for sharing

Sorry to hear. I remember when I tried to save a man in student life by fundraising but he passed away without treatment and we gave the fund to his family. We all have prayers for her next life. We all have to pass away. We all have to leave the earth. But everyone wants to live better way, with better healthcare.
Thank for helping her husband. Hope they can recover some of financial difficulties and will find a long term support . If someone have power to make you smile, she has power to make you cry. Colette made us cry with her lovely smiles. I am sending a little support for Tim as valentine gift. I trust you will accept and give my hug as love.

I am so very sorry the loss of your friend. I’m lifting prayers up for all of her family and friends. I can’t imagine how hard this is and will be for Tim and their family. You are a good friend Mark and your efforts didn’t go to waste. I’m glad to hear she did get a little better and was able to be with her family a little longer.

God Bless you all~ ❤️

Thank you for your prayers @crosheille!

I know she can still feel the love!

today we gathered in the Temple that she loved, we reminisced and felt her love surround us. Beautiful Colette you filled our lives with love, thank you so much, I carry you with me everywhere I go.

Wow! You are all beautiful and I know she feels you!

We'll be back in a week, ready for when Tim gets back! See you soon!

Chin up!

So sorry to hear this sad ending to the story, after there was so much hope. What you did for Colette (and Tim) was amazing, and she definitely knew how much people cared and rooted for her to get better. Prayers and healing light to Tim, and to you and your family.

Bright Blessings!

Thank you @whitelightxpress!

I appreciate this very thoughtful comment, it really helps.

While you could not save her life, maybe it can be a consolation for you to know that, with your initiative and the love and support of the steemit community you helped nevertheless. No good deed goes unrecorded and improves the morphogenetic field of goodness.

Thank you for this thoughtful comment @likedeeler!

You are very kind!

So sorry to hear this, Mark. God bless you. So sorry for your tremendous loss, Tim. Love from Japan.

Thank you @kafkanarchy84!

Feeling the love!

I am sorry for your loss, Mark. Try to stay strong. The coming days will be difficult for her family and they will need all the support they can get. Upvoted 100% and resteemed.

aww @markwhittam I'm so so sorry for you and your family and of course for Colette's family. I unfortunately know the toll cancer takes on the living and the sense of relief that comes when someone you love so much is no longer in pain. It of course does nothing to relieve the pain of those living now, and for that I'm unbelievably saddened. I'm sending lots of hugs and love to all; you're in my thoughts.
