The longterm trendline
I saw this on a Tone Vays video. I saw it again on @samstonehill's wall. I know. Life sucks at the moment. it's doom and gloom, but that trend line has been around for a while now. it puts btc at 70k by 2021. That's if it's again at the bottom of the trend line. It'll be higher.
So, just calm yo' tits. Buy the dip. Gift yourself and your buddies steem and steem monsters for xmas this year!
Could it go down more? yes! Is bitcoin doomed forever? No!
This seems like a great time to enter the market. Oh, and incidently this is part of how btc keeps growing. These boom and bust cycles allow new entry points for users, which make more people try to hold bitcoin, which makes the value of any individual coin rise over time. it blows for btc right now and certainly hurts the alt coins, but muh dudez, the next ATH goes even higher because of the current dip.
Write some posts. Build a buisness. If you can find some work that pays in crypto now's the time to get it!!! Accept it at the lows. Cash out at the highs. Stick a "for hire" sign on your wall. Get some writing, translating, art, music, coding done, hodl for a bit, and realize that by doing that you can 10x or more your wages by the next ATH.

Wow, actually a great gift idea! Take some of the accounts I have claimed with my stake and gift them to friends and family with a small SP delegation to start! I will need to look at the technicalities but a great idea indeed!

One of the biggest problems with this lull is that we are going from innovators to early adopters.
There is a chasm that many new technologies/gadgets do not make the leap.
What we have seen before is a bunch of tech savvy people getting in on the hype. However, the hype hasn't reached even 1%. (not people who know about bitcoin, not HODLers, but people who are actually transacting in the stuff)
When we get across this chasm, the speed of change and the impact will really be felt. I am sure that this will be BIGGER than smart phones. (as do most people on steemit.)
At that point, we can actually start to draw a trend line.
i beleive in trend lines as bout as much as i beleive in sayin da rosary... but i beleive in crypto liberty and personalized networks and friendworks

Man I really need to get into Steem Monsters. I have been delaying this way to much.\n\nAlso, if I had the money to spare, I wouls buy STEEM and power up like a motherfucker so if you do have the means I think that this is a great time to buy.\n\nCheers and remember people, cryptos may not look that great right now, but like with everything else in life, good things come to those who wait.\n\nSteem on!!!
