Thanks for the warning and also for maintaining your integrity. If Youtubers accept compensation of any kind for promoting ICOs they should at least be honest and state it upfront.

For the average investor, it's probably best to avoid most ICOs in general, as the risk vs. reward ratio isn't favourable. It's too much like playing the lottery, only in that case at least you're only risking a £ or two.

What we've observed recently are huge sell offs. Though those who got in early early, pre IPO or first round for something like EOS may sill be in the profit. But, otherwise ICO's have been known for simply getting in cheap and then selling during the pump. Not useful at all.
