WARNING: Large YouTubers Getting Paid to Shill ICOs

Just a warning for you guys. There are large YouTubers in this space who are getting paid to promote ICOs to their audience and they're not being entirely transparent about it.

Sort:

Thx for the update

Good to know, ICO's are damaging ETH badly, I wish all new cryptos would all just start off as a separate non-token chain before destroying something else (hence why I don't hold ETH or ETH Token coins)

Yeah, I finally decided to dump my ETH yesterday because I couldn't handle all the ICOs that keep dragging it down.

and i did the opposite :-)

maybe we will see a huge drop to less than 140/20,
but that would be only the next buying opportunity.

It's quite possible to see ETH drop to those levels considering the contraction we're facing right now. I'm not buying more yet because I'm anticipating further contractions as we get closer to the Bitcoin Fork, which always impacts the alt coin scene. Anything below $150 would likely be a solid buy, but who knows to be honest at this stage :)

I sold some Ripple, it's beginning to test me aurg! But I bought some steem under a dollar yesterday Yes!!

I lost money since I bought Ripple. It has never went above the price I bought it in. But I'm not selling it . But I'm not buying anymore

This is the FIRST time I have heard anyone mention this about being PAID to promote ICO's but it does not Surprise me. KARMA is a Strong Force.............

I upvoted your last 4 videos 100% for your integrity...

Well done!

Good to know.

Thanks for the warning and also for maintaining your integrity. If Youtubers accept compensation of any kind for promoting ICOs they should at least be honest and state it upfront.

For the average investor, it's probably best to avoid most ICOs in general, as the risk vs. reward ratio isn't favourable. It's too much like playing the lottery, only in that case at least you're only risking a £ or two.

What we've observed recently are huge sell offs. Though those who got in early early, pre IPO or first round for something like EOS may sill be in the profit. But, otherwise ICO's have been known for simply getting in cheap and then selling during the pump. Not useful at all.

Thanks for the honesty there. Always great to hear about what is happening with influencers. I also noticed how some of these scam sites that function like Ponzi schemes and promise double returns in short periods of time have also gotten YouTubers to back them. Shocked me when I saw how greedy some of these people could be at the cost of their integrity

If a woman wears too transparent it can downlift parts

Finally I found you on Steemit =). Thx for the valuable information.
